What are we all about?
What?
Our founders, Zosia and David decided that they could not sit on the sidelines anymore when reading about the horrors occurring in Ukraine. They have gathered a team of 8 people to work together on creating something awesome in Web3. We Are Resistance project serves as a reminder that everyone can do their part and every little bit matters and has an impact.
DISCLAIMER: We are NOT donating money to organizations buying weapons/ammunition or military equipment. We feel that this is best done through bigger national agreements. We are only focusing on helping civilians in need.
Our mission is to raise charity funds for the victims in Ukraine. All holders of the NFTs will literally be a part of the resistance. It's never been this easy to be a part of something good. Now even we, "keyboard warriors" can do our part in fighting against true evil.
When holding/trading these NFTs, you ARE the resistance!
Why?
The big charity organizations are unfortunately not sending the money where it is needed the most. As reported on 6th July 2022, only 2.1% of the donations to the Red Cross went to Ukraine. It's not exactly clear where the rest of the money went, but surely not to humanitarian help in Ukraine.
We are going another way. We choose the organizations for our donations very carefully. First, we do some research about their activities, directions of work, we check on the comments from real people, look for the reviews. As the second stage, we hold individual meetings, sharing more details about us and asking to tell us more about the actual projects each organization is doing. We select the organizations based and acting in Ukraine. This approach takes time as we do it very thoroughly.
We have come down to only a few organizations that we have decided to collaborate with. They all support this project and stand behind the initiative. Trust us when we say this, they are all doing an amazing job! <3
That's how we can guarantee that the money will go directly to the people who need it the most, without any middle hands.
How?
We aim to combine fun and a good did: by owning an awesome NFT, you are able to become a part of the great community and donate to people in need at the same time. You will also be getting access and benefits in the real world. That's why we're working hard on collaborations with the companies across Europe for merchandise and other cool things. All these developments bring significant value to the holder of our NFTs. This is just the beginning of our journey (see future plans). We plan to keep building and improving ourselves and "wow" the market with everything we do. We Are Resistance NFTs are your access to all that.
